Questions and answers

Yes, our Holbury funeral home on Long Lane serves Fawley and the surrounding communities, including Blackfield, Langley, Hythe, Dibden, Dibden Purlieu, and Marchwood. Our team knows this part of the New Forest well, and we are here to support your family every step of the way.

You can call us at any time, day or night, and our team will come to your father with care and respect, wherever he has died in the Holbury area. We will guide you through the immediate practicalities, including registering the death and any paperwork involved, so your family does not have to work it out alone during such a difficult time.

We regularly arrange services at local churches including Fawley Church, Dibden Church, and Hythe Church, and we are equally experienced in organising non-religious and humanist funerals. Whatever your family's faith, beliefs, or traditions, our team will listen carefully and make sure the service reflects the person who has died in a way that feels right for you.

Our funeral home on Long Lane has six on-site spaces, designated disabled parking, and a nearby free car park, with additional street parking along the side of the building and on the service roads, so arriving by car is straightforward. The arrangement room is on the ground floor and the building is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet, meaning our team can welcome everyone in your family comfortably when you come in to sit down with us.

We work with four crematoriums depending on your family's wishes, Test Valley, New Forest, Wessex Vale, and Southampton, so you have a genuine choice about where that part of the day takes place. Our team will talk you through what each one involves, from the arrival of the procession to the time you have in the chapel, so you feel prepared and know what to expect.
