Co-op Funeralcare, Tonypandy
Rosemount Funeral Home, Unit 3 Dunraven Street, Tonypandy, CF40 1AN
We're proud to have served our community in Tonypandy since 1980. In that time, our funeral home has helped countless families, offering the practical guidance and advice they need to arrange a fitting send off for a loved one. Whether you live in Tonypandy or surrounding areas like Tonyrefail, Penygraig, Clydach Vale or Llwynypia, no one knows the area and its people better than our team.
We will be led by you in making the funeral arrangements. We will listen as you tell us about who they were and what feels right for them. Then we will use our established relationships with local places of worship and crematoriums in the area, like Trealaw Chapel, Salem Evangelical and Mount Zion and Latter Day Saints to create the funeral that feels right.
At what can be a stressful time, you will quickly feel at ease with our professional and friendly team, as we arrange the funeral together. Call us anytime or visit our warm and welcoming funeral home on Dunraven Street.

We have long-standing relationships with a number of local churches and chapels, including Trealaw Chapel, Salem Evangelical, and Mount Zion, as well as the Latter Day Saints congregation, so we are well placed to support families who want a faith-led service. Our team will liaise directly with the minister or celebrant of your choice and make all the practical arrangements around the service. Whatever your faith or tradition, we will do our best to honour it properly.
We work with three crematoriums, Glyntaff, Coychurch, and Llwydcoed, and we will help your family choose the one that feels right in terms of location and availability. On the day, our team will lead the procession from the agreed point and stay with you throughout the service, making sure everything runs smoothly so your family can focus entirely on being together. We are happy to explain exactly what to expect at whichever crematorium you choose.
Our Tonypandy funeral home on Dunraven Street is very familiar with families coming to us from Tonyrefail, as well as from Penygraig, Clydach Vale, Llwynypia, Trealaw, and Treorchy. We cover a wide area across the Rhondda, and our team will come to you wherever you are. Please do get in touch and we will talk you through everything from the start.
You do not need to do anything immediately, and our team on Dunraven Street is available to guide you as soon as you feel ready to call. We can arrange for your loved one to be brought into our care, and we will walk you through the paperwork and next steps at a pace that suits your family. There is no rush, and we are here to make sure nothing feels overwhelming in those first difficult hours.
Bridge Street Car Park is just at the end of Dunraven Street and is free to use, though spaces can be limited at busier times, so it is worth arriving a little early if you can. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor, which makes access straightforward for anyone who finds stairs difficult. We do want to be upfront that the building does not currently have wheelchair access or an accessible toilet, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but please do speak to us and we will do everything we can to accommodate your family's needs.
