You do not need to have everything figured out before you call us — our team at John Johnson on Madeley Street is here to help from the very first moment, including arranging the collection of your loved one and talking you through any immediate paperwork. We can take things at your pace, and if you are based in areas like Newcastle-under-Lyme or Carmountside, we will make sure coming to us or having us come to you is as straightforward as possible. Just knowing there is someone to call can make those first difficult hours feel a little less overwhelming.
Absolutely, we can arrange a funeral that reflects your family's own values and wishes, whether that means a humanist ceremony, a celebration of life, or something entirely bespoke with no religious elements at all. Our team at John Johnson has been helping families in Tunstall and the surrounding communities since 1880, so we have a great deal of experience in tailoring services to suit all beliefs and none. We will listen carefully to what matters most to you and help shape a farewell that feels true to the person who died.
On the day of a cremation, our team will bring your loved one to the crematorium at the agreed time, and we will guide your family through every moment so you are never left unsure of what comes next. The service itself can be as personal as you wish — whether you would like music, readings, or simply a quiet gathering — and we will help you plan something that feels right for the person who died. Families we care for from across the Tunstall and Stoke-on-Trent area often tell us that knowing exactly what to expect in advance brings real comfort on the day.
Yes, our team at John Johnson on Madeley Street is very familiar with families coming to us from Bradwell, and we are here to help you every step of the way. We also serve Tunstall, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Carmountside, and the wider Stoke-on-Trent area, so wherever you are calling from, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
