View funeral notices and leave a tribute or donation in their memory
On the day of a cremation, our team will collect your loved one and bring them to the chosen venue before proceeding to the crematorium, ensuring everything runs to a careful and respectful schedule. We can help you plan the order of service, music, and any readings or tributes you would like to include, so the occasion truly reflects the person who died. Families we have supported across the Breckland area, including those travelling in from Thetford or Hingham, often find that having a clear sense of timings in advance helps them feel more at ease on the day.
We are here around the clock, so please do not hesitate to call us at any hour, day or night, even if you are not sure what to do next. Our team can talk you through the immediate steps, including arranging for your loved one to be brought into our care from wherever they died, whether that is a home in Watton, a hospital, or elsewhere in the Breckland area. We can also help you understand what paperwork will be needed in the days ahead, so you can focus on your family rather than feeling overwhelmed by the practicalities.
Yes, our team covers Swaffham as well as the wider Breckland area, including Watton, Thetford, Hingham, Ashill, and St Faith's. Whether your family is based in Swaffham or further afield, we can come to you and guide you through every step of the arrangements. You are always welcome to visit us on Norwich Road, where we have a ground-floor arrangement room if you would prefer to meet us in person.
Our team has experience supporting families from a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds, including Polish and Filipino communities, as well as Buddhist, Catholic, Humanist, and Christian Church of England traditions. We take time to understand what matters most to your family, whether that means particular prayers, music, rituals, or the involvement of a specific faith community. We work closely with local venues including St Mary's Church in Watton and Watton Methodist Church, and we will do our best to accommodate the traditions that are most meaningful to you.
We have four on-site parking spaces at our funeral home on Norwich Road, and if those are taken there is also free street parking nearby and a free car park within easy reach. The Tesco store directly opposite the funeral home also has parking available, which can be helpful when a number of family members are visiting at the same time. Our arrangement room is on the ground floor and we have wheelchair access and an accessible toilet, so please let us know in advance if anyone in your family has any accessibility needs and we will make sure everything is ready for your visit.
